OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE
The scope of the Romanian Journal of History (Revue Roumaine d’Histoire) is to publish and promote articles of high scientific level, which contain various research work results referring to diverse areas and eras of history: archaeology, medieval, modern, and contemporary history. Articles are published in international languages, such as French, English, German, and Italian, for ensuring access and use by the broad public. Thus, these articles pertaining to diverse research areas of history can be employed in research work as well as in the teaching process. In addition, the journal offers a perspective on the evolution of the areas of historical sciences.
Revue Roumaine d’Histoire publishes scientific articles, research papers, diverse book reviews relating to the areas of Romanian history and culture as well as international/world history and civilization. Therefore, this journal comprises a variety of historical approaches, from social, economic, political, diplomatic, intellectual, and cultural points of view.
